About Douglas Herman

Educated in Pennsylvania, litigation attorney Douglas Edward Herman holds a bachelor of arts in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh and a juris doctor, cum laude, from the Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg. While working toward his law degree, he served as a member of Law Review and contributed content to The Widener Journal of Public Law. He was also an academic merit scholar. After graduation, Douglas Herman established himself as an attorney with two Pennsylvania law firms, Caldwell & Kearns, in Harrisburg and at Marshall Dennehey, in Philadelphia. Douglas Edward Herman has practiced law in Savannah, GA, since relocating to the area in 2007. While at the Firm of Oliver Maner, he achieved the highest ranking on Martindale Hubbell and became a partner with the firm. Since 2018, he has been with the Hostilo Law Firm and served as it’s Chief Legal Officer and Director of serious injury and complex litigation. Headquartered in Savannah, GA, the Hostilo Law Firm maintains a network of 10 offices that span Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama.
